Current restrictions – You must stay home. Only leave your home if you have a reasonable excuse. If you must leave home, stay within your local area (5km radius from Monday 16th August). Do not travel outside your local area if you can avoid it.

Shortness of breath

Do you have a cough, sore/scratchy throat, fever, shortness of breath, runny nose, loss of smell or loss of taste? Have you been overseas in the last 14 days?

IF YES,

  • Cover your mouth and nose when coughing/sneezing. You may be asked to wear a mask.
  • Keep 1.5 metres apart from others.
  • Tell ECJ management.
  • Do not attend the office if feeling unwell with any symptoms of Covid-19.
  • Get tested for COVID-19!

To get tested:

  • Visit a COVID-19 testing clinic, or
  • Call your GP, or
  • Call the National Coronavirus Helpline 1800 020 080 (24-hour helpline).

How does the COVID-19 Test work?

Anyone with respiratory symptoms or unexplained fever should be tested.

  • People without symptoms do not require testing, except in special circumstances.
  • Swabs may be taken of your throat and nose.
  • Swab is sent to lab to be tested.
  • Negative result – You will receive a SMS if you were tested at a public hospital ED or COVID-19 clinic and registered for text alerts.
  • Positive result – You will be called by doctor or your local public health unit.

Creating a Covid-19 Safe office environment at ECJ Technology.

We’ve developed this COVID-19 Safety Plan to help create and maintain a safe environment for you and our customers.

Our Safety Plan includes the following:

  • Contract staff and employees will be advised that use of shared/common surfaces/equipment will be minimised.
  • Cleaning of shared/common surfaces/equipment will occur using a suitable cleaning agent/disinfectant.
  • Workspaces arranged so one person per 4 sq m and clear pathways to allow 1.5 metres distancing when moving through the office.
  • Restrict access to the meeting room to no more than 2 people at one time.
  • Encourage staff to work from home and to avoid public transport wherever possible. If taking public transport, staff are encouraged wear a mask.
  • Advise workers to take meal breaks outside of the office, in the rear courtyard, at their workstation or one person at a time in the meeting room.
  • Setup and advise workers how to remotely use Email, Microsoft Teams collaboration tool, Zoom video meetings and remote network access.
  • Plan at the start of each week who will attend the office premises. Stagger days workers come into the office.
  • Minimise deliveries to the office.
  • Request contactless deliveries.
  • Whoever is on site at the time of any visitors to the office will ensure a record is kept for a period of at least 28 days of visitors name, mobile number and email address.
  • All contract staff and employees will be recommended to download the COVIDsafe app, noting this is not compulsory.
  • ECJ will cooperate with NSW Health in relation to any notified positive case of Covid-19 and will notify SafeWork NSW if this occurs where a worker is affected.

ECJ will provide the following:

  • Personal use hand sanitiser provided to each individual worker/workstation.
  • Hand sanitiser provided in each common area (meeting room and kitchen areas).
  • Hand sanitisers will be alcohol based at a concentration of at least 70%.
  • Disposable 3-layer masks.
  • Single use disposable paper hand towels and no-touch waste bin provided in the toilet.
  • Single-use disposable disinfectant wipes, paper towel and spray disinfectant provided to clean personal touch areas throughout the day.
  • In addition to professional cleaning, management and allocated staff will regularly clean high-touch areas such as door handles, light switches and office equipment with disinfectant cleaning products.

Covid-19 Prevention.

Protect yourself and your families from Coronavirus infection.

  • Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when sneezing or coughing or use flexed elbow.
  • Avoid contact with people with flu like symptoms.
  • Dispose of used tissues immediately in a covered bin.
  • Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.
  • Wash your hands with soap and water or alcohol based hand sanitiser regularly.
  • Avoid crowded areas. Protect yourself and others in public with a face mask where it’s difficult to maintain physical social distancing.
  • Refrain from shaking hands.
  • Eat well, exercise and look after your mental health.
  • If you feel unwell, stay home, isolate and get tested for Covid-19.
